Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You this movie was released last year and we’ve been hooked ever since!

The Polar Express features Tom Hanks as the conductor and is a favorite even at the children’s schools.

Home Alone 1 and 2 – Yes! Can’t go through Christmas without watching these a couple of times – OK maybe more than a couple! But, we can’t resist Macaulay Culkin and Joe Pesci.

Peanuts: I Want A Dog For Christmas, Charlie Brown is simply a classic, with Snoopy and The Peanut Gang, it’s really a must watch!

And finally, because we are a Disney loving family, we don’t miss watching – Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas and Mickey’s Twice Upon A Christmas

Have you seen any of these titles, I’d love to know.

  1. We love 💕 love ❤️ love 💗Christmas movies. We have enjoyed all of these you listed. Polar Express always amazes us with its amazing scenery and awe. Have you seen the Nutcracker? The one with the rat king and live doll house that the kids go into?

    1. Yay! So glad you’ve enjoyed these!
Yes, we’ve watched the 1993 film The Nutcracker with Macaulay Culkin?! Is that the one, because it’s so good! 🥰
Speaking of, yesterday I went with my 3 year old to a field trip to watch the ballet with his class. Amazing, simply beautiful. This was my first field trip because of the condition I live with, but the ballet?! How could I miss it?! Love, love, love! 😊🙌🏽

      1. Yes?! Nice, I’ll have to watch! 🙌🏽🙄
I can’t get myself to watch The nightmare before Christmas in its entirety. I don’t know, it’s a combination of Jack, and the animation and I don’t know. 🥺🤦🏽‍♀️

      2. Yes, I mean it’s a Disney movie, so it can’t be as bad as I make it out to be, and I haven’t even seen the movie. But I’ll give it a chance, once day or another. Once I get past the animation. Hehe 😎

  2. As a tradition, I watch the Polar Express every Christmas Eve with my daughters. I have been hooked on this movie since I saw it in IMAX.

I would add National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. It’s a silly movie, but I love it.

      1. I have always kind of identified with Clark Griswald, the hopelessly idealistic family man in search of that perfect family holiday or vacation and the world just turns that to complete disaster no matter what he tries. Not that my life has been a disaster.

      2. Lol! Yes, he tried and tried. That is life though, we try our hardest to be perfect and create a perfect life, but at the end we see that there is no such thing as perfection. We should be content as we are, disastrous moments and all. 😊🙏🏽

    1. Oh I must put on It’s A Wonderful Life! So true, that one’s great! I haven’t heard the other two, thank you, I’ll check them out.
Oh the Grinch and Rudolph are so sweet! I especially like the 2000 film, How The Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey – so funny, once you get past The Who’s! 😏
And another favorite has to be, the 1983 A Christmas Story – my kids love it! 😊
So great catching up on these this time of year, they really get you even more excited.

      1. They really do! I will warn you that Christmas Shoes is sad but yet heartwarming at the same time! 🙂
Yes the Grinch with Jim Carrey is another good one. They have another new Grinch movie out now but we haven’t seen it yet.

      2. Oh really?! Awe! Ok. I’m going to look it up on Netflix.
My favorite is with Jim Carrey. Yes they do have a new one out now, haven’t seen it, the actor was on Jimmy Fallon and I didn’t really enjoy him 😩 I enjoy Jim Carrey’s humor the best.
