Welcome to ‘Mom Life With Chiari’
I left my full-time Downtown area job years ago to stay home. I’m an Autism mom to one, a two time NICU mom and stay at home mom to my six little’s – of which through God’s love and grace were all born via c-section. Yes. It. Is. Possible. I was born in Nicaragua, raised in Florida and have Korean descent. I was diagnosed in 2013 with Chiari (kee-AH-ree) 1 Malformation and Syringomyelia (sear-IN-go-my-EEL-ya). I want to share my personal experience with the disease, all things home and all that lies in between.
My journey began in 2013, perhaps yours has just begun and if you’re not a Chiarian, please stay awhile! I want to continue to battle this disease that too many – including doctors, find it to be so foreign. So, journey with me as I continue to figure out – although at times crazy but still beautifully messy life, a thing called ‘Mom Life With Chiari.’
